Q. How Much Does a Site Cost
A. A small business website costs just
£800.
Q. Do I Pay Monthly?
A. Our products usually include a £20
or £40 monthly fee. This monthly charge will be billed to your credit
card each month.
Q. How Quickly Will My Site Be Ready?
A. This will depend upon the type of
website you buy. Small Business and E-commerce sites can take up to 30
days, depending on complexity. E-commerce sites will then need the
products added which will depend upon you. Typically, we see customers
take two weeks to get their shop the way they want it.
Q. What is Included in a Custom Design?
A. To offer these incredibly low prices, web:4:sme has established a process to achieve a custom design with the minimum of fuss. This process has the following 5 steps:
1. We send you a design briefing sheet which you complete in as much detail as you can (we will send you an example sheet for guidance) and the return to us.
2. We return two design ways, as JPEG images, based upon your briefing sheet.
3. You provide us with feedback on the two design ways in as much detail as you can.
4. We provide a further, final design way, based upon your feedback, is returned to you.
5. We can accept minor modifications based on this last designs before the HTML templates are created.
The cost is based upon this process. Any deviation from this process will result in additional charges.
Q. What is I-ntarsiaTM
?
A. We supply all web:4:sme sites with
the i-ntarsia web site management system. I-ntarsia is produced and
developed by our parent company, I-Next Ltd. Using i-ntarsia, you can
actually run a web site just like any other part of your business, with

Q. How Do I Get My Site On Google and
Other Search Engines?
A. The web:4:sme system includes site
submission instructions which will help you get the site in the indexes
in the first place. In addition the i-ntarsia system includes all of the
tools to tell you if the search engines are sending you customers.
Q. What If My Company Grows?
A. The beauty of the i-ntarsia system
is that it is very scalable. I-Next provide i-ntarsia systems to some
very large companies. We are sure that however your business grows we
can offer you the service and support you need.
Q. How Easy Is It To Update My Site?
A. Very easy. I-Next has a very active
policy of offering local school and sixth form students work experience.
All are shown how to use i-ntarsia and then begin to build at least one
site. In the week we have them, the average 15 year old student will
complete one site!
Q. If I Buy An E-commerce Website How Many Products Can I Load?
A. This will depend on how you do the
individual product pages and how many images there are. The system will
allow you to load as many as you want, but if you go over your allotted
space we may ask you to pay an additional fee for the space used. We
would estimate that for a normal e-shop, the web:4:sme E-commerce system
could accommodate up to 2,000 products. If you need more than this,
please call us as we can accommodate you.
